Geek tattoos

It came as a bit of a shock when I saw Denham Coote's Ubuntu Linux tattoo

Aparently, his motivations were not only Linux vs. Windows, but also more generally, the ideas of sharing, caring, acceptance, diversity, giving back, acknowledgement, working towards a greater good, etc.
ubuntu.com sums it up wonderfully - "Humanity to others", or "I am what I am because of who we all are"
As with everything else, when you've seen it on the internet once, changes are that other people have done the exact same thing. Thus began the quest to discover peoples interest in getting geeky tattoos. Or rather, should I say, tattoos of operating system logos. While the Linux penguin is cute, I can't help but ponder over the absurdities of getting a MAC apple or a Windows logo on the left upper arm. Is it the shock effect? Is it something to do with attracting individuals of the opposite sex? I think failure is the only certainty in that case. What is it then? Showing off ones passion for the environment in which one operates on the computer.

Whatever peoples motivations may be, it doesn't change the fact that the tattoos are out there, and roaming wild on the internet in the form of pictures. Here's some of the ones I was able to pick up.
